Mrs. Bisher's Reading Page
As we experience each of our novel this year, we will use the following pages as a visual guides to the books. Sometimes the images will help us see people or objects or places that were unfamiliar to us. Sometimes the descriptions will help us better understand the significance of an event. Definitions to unfamiliar words will help in comprehension, too.
No, none of it is really needed to read and understand the books we are reading. Your imaginations are completely up to the task of creating mental images to match the text you read. But there are certain descriptions, certain situations, where you deserve to see exactly what the author is describing. This will help put things into proper perspective.
Click on the menu button at the top of this page to guide you to our current book, and then through each section. There you will find helpful vocabulary definitions, pictures, and explanations.
Above all else, I hope you enjoy each and every novel this year.
Happy reading!
